“EVOLVING VOICE/EVOLVING MUSIC (Monday)
The headliner on this edition of the experimental music series, appearing at 10 p.m., is Bizingas, a quartet with Kirk Knuffke on trumpet, Brian Drye on trombone, Jonathan Goldberger on guitar and Ches Smith on drums.
Preceding them at 9 is an improvising trio composed of the saxophonist Ingrid Laubrock, the guitarist Mary Halvorson and the drummer Tom Rainey. Earlier sets will feature poets — Pierre Joris and Nicole Peyrafitte at 8,
Golda Solomon at 7 — each backed by a bassist.

Pierre,
Bisio is a motherfucker! He used to play with Brian Kent in a trio that provided music for a Jack Kerouac play at the Velvet Elvis Theater in Seattle. Brilliant. He also played a lot with Dan Blunck, one of the best multi-reedists in the NW.
