2 Videos by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte
Last November, Nicole Peyrafitte, son Miles and I spent a week in New Orleans, reading /performing at the Gold Mine Saloon & visiting the disaster- and grief-struck city, video-taping and photographing what we saw. When we returned to Albany, some of this material entered into a piece on Nola we performed the very next week in Nicole’s Experimental Cabaret. But alreday on the plane back, Miles had started to use video material we had shot to build two short films, one with a poem by Megan Burns and the other with a poem by Dave Brinks as sound-tracks (We had recorded Megan and Dave reading on the roof of their apartment above the Gold Mine Saloon). Miles has given me permission to make these videos public — though this being but a lowly blog and not a vlog, I can only insert links that will get you to the videos. Here goes:

yes, indeed — but movie making has been his passion for quite some time.
