Rain Taxi, my favorite, and I do honestly think, the best, magazine around for reviews of the current lit (be it poetry, prose, comics, etc.) I want to hear about, is trying to raise money to keep going — and so they have started another auction where you can buy a wide range of items that will hopefully put enough moola into the coffers to keep the presses rolling. Below the pitch from the Rain-Taxi site, and the url that will get you to the eBay auction location. If you never thought you’d hear me say something along these lines, well, here goes: Go & shop til you drop!
Rain-Taxi This year our auction contains a multitude of items, many of which were donated by authors in support of Rain Taxi! There are first editions, gorgeous broadsides, and hard-to-find chapbooks; in addition, we also have some quirky used and collectible books, as well as original artwork, comics, manuscript pages, and more! Many items are SIGNED by the authors and/or artists. Bidding is conducted on eBay–for full listings and the chance to support Rain Taxi and get cool stuff at the same time, click here!
