Lodève "Voix de la Méditerranée" festival (1)

Just back to our Pyrenean hide-out from 8 days in Lodève at the “Voix de la Méditerranée” festival. An excellent occasion, though exhausting, what with having to do at least one half-hour reading a day, trying to catch as many of the other readers as possible & spending social time with old friends and new acquaintances. I did not have easy access to the net, and even here, I only have occasional access, so I couldn’t blog while there but will try to slowly catch up & once I’ve edited the videos I took at Lodève I will post at least some of these. Meanwhile I consider the next 2 weeks as quiet hiking ‘n writing days, my holidays in fact. So I’ll take it easy & will pick hiking over posting, whenever the choice comes up…

Below, a few photos from the Lodève days:

Luxembourg poets Jean Portante, Serge Basso,Lambert Schlechter & cellist André Mergenthaler with whom I performed on the first evening.

    Hello,
    Adiu,
    Lodèv’/Lodèva is not in the Pyrénées/Pirenèus… It’s in Languedoc/Lengadòc.
May be your geography need something as a leason about orientation ?

Of course — note that I say “I’m back in the Pyrenees” after a week in Lodève, so I actually don’t mix up the geography: I went to Lodève from my place in the Vallée d’Oueil, and then returned to Gascoun/Pyrenean Bourg d’Oueil from Languedocian Lodève…
