In Memory of Ted<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are given weight
\nseparate from the earth
\nas the first miracle,
\na certain leave
\nto rise like the stones
\nin a thawing road.
\nThere are directions
\npointed to by growing
\nin the flowering branch
\nand the equal root for those
\nwho have tried and tired,
\nwho disbelieve the sunlight.
\nBecause it is lonely
\npoets like Ted Enslin
\nwait at the mouths of graves
\nfor our coming home.<\/p>\n
