A very moving document indeed, even if you don&#8217;t think of <em>L&#8217;Amant<\/em> (translated as by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Lover-Marguerite-Duras\/dp\/0375700528\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1278335416&amp;sr=8-1\"><em>The Lover<\/em><\/a> by Barbara Bray) as one of Duras&#8217; more interesting books. The montage is by Gregory Engler, based on some 50 minutes of footage selected by Sophie Bogaert and  Olivier Corpet from several hours of film shot during August 1987.
