Stromatolithic haystack.<\/p>\n<p>Like you, Gustaf, I\u2019ve risked wordwreck to excavate<br \/>a buried mouth, to release its stumped<br \/>root whirl.<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;     Every crocodilian kiss<br \/>stimulates the soul gown, the veiled animal heads<br \/>strutting through our combines.<br \/>Stare hard into the atmosphere,<br \/>Little Red Riding Hood is there as a rose-colored wolf,<br \/>or as an ashen wet-suit<br \/>in which, through the smoke hole of the mind,<br \/>we shimmy down<br \/>our skullracked, sand-<br \/>blasted psychic backbone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From Clayton Eshleman, this morning, this poem: FOR GUSTAF SOBIN Radiating in my shroudI governed my matrixwandering Egyptian anima mundi,sensing in these parent powersa deeper larval plait.
