Though we ate inside, we quickly moved to the terrace afterward for coffee and the little sun that was just beginning to break through. Much pleasant and intense talk \u2014 as nearly always with Algerians, there are long discussions about history, especially right now as all of a sudden many personal narratives of the days \u2014 years, in fact \u2014 of the national War of Independence are being published for the first time in Algeria.
