Some details below:<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Tariq Ramadan lawsuit<\/span><br \/>Last week, PEN hailed a court ruling challenging the U.S. government\u2019s refusal to issue a visa to the prominent Muslim scholar Tariq Ramadan, calling the court\u2019s order to process Professor Ramadan\u2019s visa application &#8220;a clear and articulate affirmation of the First Amendment rights of Americans.&#8221; >><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pen.org\/viewmedia.php\/prmMID\/688\/prmID\/278\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Mohammed Benchicou released<\/span><br \/>PEN also welcomed the release of Mohammed Benchicou, a newspaper publisher whose paper\u2019s independent reporting earned him a two-year prison term in Algeria.
