Bouanani is a French poet, novelist, and filmmaker whose cult classic&nbsp;<em>The Hospital&nbsp;<\/em>was also published in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another title translated from Arabic,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2PxaiWi\">Dunya Mikhail\u2019s&nbsp;<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2PxaiWi\">The Beekeeper<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>was longlisted for the PEN\/John Kenneth Galbraith Award for Nonfiction, which&nbsp;honors \u201ca distinguished book of general nonfiction published in 2017 or 2018.\u201d Mikhail\u2019s book was co-translated by herself and Max Weiss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldliteraturetoday.org\/2018\/january\/spring-dunya-mikhail#.WjlYNxj5tAQ.facebook\">read an excerpt of&nbsp;<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldliteraturetoday.org\/2018\/january\/spring-dunya-mikhail#.WjlYNxj5tAQ.facebook\">The Beekeeper<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>in&nbsp;<em>World Literature Today.<\/em>&nbsp;A<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spdbooks.org\/Content\/Site106\/FilesSamples\/9780999570104.pdf\">&nbsp;sample of Fathy\u2019s book<\/a>&nbsp;is also available online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first poem from&nbsp;<em>Revolution Goes Through Walls<\/em>, \u201cI would like to say,\u201d&nbsp;opens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would like to say, I don\u2019t know the road to paradise\u2026 that my tongue, the people, and that man sitting contemplating the railway lines in a deep meditation nobody will ever know, existed. My house existed \u2014 in a place I am still seeking.
