It was the opener of a series that also included one-hour programs on Tom Raworth, Bob Cobbing, Allen Fisher &amp; Jeff Nuttall. These last 4 have unhappily not been rebroadcast recently &amp; so I don&#8217;t have access to them. Meanwhile, below is the program on Eric, with friends Jacques Taroni as r\u00e9alisateur\/director &amp; Michel Maire as reader of the translations of Eric&#8217;s poems. Relistening to the show this morning for the first time since it was broadcast originally, I enjoyed Eric&#8217;s quicksilver energy immediately \u2014 while simultaneously feeling profoundly saddened when I realized that not only Eric but friends Jacques &amp; Michel are no longer among the living. In that sense \u2014 &amp; beyond Jack Spicer&#8217;s suggestion that radio brings us messages from Mars &amp; outer space \u2014 I suddenly saw radio (no, heard radio) as not only bringing messages and voices from beyond the grave, but revivifying them, bringing them back to life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe data-src=\"https:\/\/www.franceculture.fr\/player\/export-reecouter?content=16a40ee0-ac45-4ff9-aca2-d1437712b263\" width=\"481\" height=\"137\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div class=\"intro\">\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"intro-slug\">1983 |<\/span>&#8220;La nouvelle po\u00e9sie anglaise&#8221; : entretien avec le po\u00e8te anglais Eric Mottram.
