\u2018Dying for Free\u2019<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Autumn passing through my flesh as a funeral of oranges..<\/span><\/p>\n

coppery moon crumpled by minerals and sand<\/span><\/p>\n

children falling in my heart upon the souls of men<\/span><\/p>\n

all the pain is my share..not everything is being told\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

and the arms of spilled blood call to me: come!<\/span><\/p>\n

raise your neck to a sun made compassionate through blood<\/span><\/p>\n

do not bury your dead! .. leave them as pillars of light<\/span><\/p>\n

leave my spilled blood.. as a warning to the oppressors<\/span><\/p>\n

let it lead them to the night<\/span><\/p>\n

turn my blood into the green mountain\u2019s match on the chest of the space<\/span><\/p>\n

don\u2019t ask poets to write eulogies for the kids of the orchard<\/span><\/p>\n

the honor of childhood<\/span><\/p>\n

lies in how it risks the safety of the tribe<\/span><\/p>\n

I bless them with the glory that suckles blood and vice<\/span><\/p>\n

I congratulate the executioner winning against the kohl-\u00adrimmed eyes<\/span><\/p>\n

so that he can borrow his winter coat from her braid<\/span><\/p>\n

cheers to the opener\/conqueror of the village<\/span><\/p>\n

cheers to the slaughterer of children<\/span><\/p>\n

O Kafr q\u0101sim! .. the tombstones are gripped hands<\/span><\/p>\n

tightening to the depths my roots<\/span><\/p>\n

the roots of orphans struggling to extend their arms<\/span><\/p>\n

yet we are remaining.. you noble hand, teach us how to orchestrate<\/span><\/p>\n

we remain like the light, and the words, not twisted by shackles or pain<\/span><\/p>\n
