Join series curator Tamas Panitz, and poets Pierre Joris and Brenda Coultas this Sunday at the Hudson Opera House!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Although born and raised in Luxembourg,\u00a0Pierre Joris<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is an internationally recognized poet who, writes Jerome Rothenberg, \u201chas invaded the American language, not to plunder but to enrich us with his presence.\u201d Recently published books include\u00a0Barzakh: Poems 2000\u20132012\u00a0<\/i>(Black Widow Press);\u00a0Breathturn into Timestead: The Collected Later Poetry of Paul Celan<\/i>\u00a0(FSG) and\u00a0A Voice full of Cities: The Collected Essays of Robert Kelly\u00a0<\/i>(with Peter Cockelbergh; Contra Mundum Press)<\/p>\n

Winner of the Norma Farber First Book Award in 2004 for her highly original A Handmade Museum<\/em>, Brenda Coultas<\/strong> has since published a number of poetry collections, including The Tatters<\/em> and\u00a0The Marvelous Bones of Time<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Reading Series Curator Tamas Panitz<\/strong> is a graduate of the Bard College Written Arts Program and co-editor of The Doris Magazine<\/em> with Billie Chernicoff.
