\nArtists in Residence in Gascony for the\u00a0NY’OC Trobadors<\/a>\u00a0project.<\/strong><\/div>\n
NY\u2019OC Trobadors, is a collaboration between artists\u00a0based in France and New York.\u00a0\u00a0Save the date \u2014\u00a0Saturday November 23rd 2013 \u2014 for\u00a0a full day on\/of Occitan culture that\u00a0will bring the riches of southern\u00a0France\u2019s troubadour tradition to the American public.\u00a0This\u00a0unique gathering of bi-continental poets, musicians, singers\u00a0& translators will present panels, a\u00a0fully staged bilingual (Occitan-English)\u00a0multimedia performance and talks about the bilingual anthology of Occitan\u00a0poetry we are working on.\u00a0Texts, poems & song lyrics spanning the 11th\u00a0century to the present will be presented. This event will be at\u00a0Poets House<\/a>\u00a0<\/a>co-sponsored by\u00a0City Lore<\/a>\u00a0&\u00a0d’Artagnan<\/a>. We still need\u00a0funds to make this event possible. City Lore is taking donations\u00a0here<\/a>)<\/div>\n
